Solstice Studio is excited to have Dana Mahon host a Youth Wellness Workshop.

Dana is the author and creator of
"Release Your Inner Wild".

Dana coaches youth and women's groups in person and through online programs.
Dana specializes in nutrition, aromatherapy, massage, yoga and all around how to connect with your self to live your best life!

Dana's work and, a bit of what she does
" I earned my degree in Pysical Activity and Sports Studies, and post-degree honors diploma in Wellness and Lifestyle Management.
I supplemented this education with certifications in fitness for adults and seniors; reflexology; and yoga for youth and adults. I developed yoga and wellness camps for kids taught in schools, and in my own Yoga Studio. I worked in post-secondary settings as a Health Promotions manager where I developed, planned and oversaw numerous employee wellness programs as well as large-scale annual health conferences and trade shows. It was in fact this experience that led me to study Yoga so deeply and discover how I could bring the ancient healing practices to the modern day women seeking to come home to herself.

Youth Wellness Workshop Details
Date: April 10th
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 - There will be a break with healthy snacks provided for everyone.
Cost: $35 per person
Ages 11 - up
Place: Solstice Studio 151 Dogwood, Campbell River BC
The Youth Wellness Workshop is for everyone. Youth do not need to be attending Solstice Studio as a student to attend this beautiful workshop. Space is limited to 12 youth only. Please register online to reserve your spot.

A Brief Workshop Outline



-
Breathing Technique's for grounding, calming and resetting the nervous system.

Gentle movement, allowing for the body and breath to connect.

Practices for recognizing and managing the stress response.
-
Journaling, followed by discussions regarding stress and anxiety, how to cope.
-
Circle talk, how you can build self confidence in using your voice.
-
We will be covering many topics and as much as possible during the two hour workshop.
